The main reason I didn't base my work on this API where the 1:1 copy of the Mac
API where specially the delegates didn't feel native.

The current API is (almost) good enough for the OpenMoko Browser, Feedreader
and pidgin.im so I would like to see an evolutionary API design driven by
actual demand instead of blindly throwing things away. But these are just my
two cents.
