It seems its not a problem with GIT, but with SVN ?

This simple SVN checkout on a new empty directory will fail:

$ svn co https://svn.webkit.org/repository/webkit/trunk/LayoutTests/http/tests/cache/

output: http://sprunge.us/XffD
