            Bug ID: 155255
Summary: MemoryPressureHandler doesn't work if cgroups aren't
                    present in Linux
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Local Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Platform
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: eocanha at igalia.com

The current Linux implementation of MemoryPressureHandler relies on /sys/fs/cgroup/memory to be properly setup. This isn't the case for all desktop systems and embedded devices, so having an alternative method to measure memory pressure should be desirable (especially on embedded devices with limited memory).
