hmm, in Source/WebKit2/UIProcess/qt/QtWebContext.cpp, function initInspectorServer() there's

QString inspectorEnv = QString::fromUtf8(qgetenv("QTWEBKIT_INSPECTOR_SERVER"));
    if (!inspectorEnv.isEmpty()) {
    }

So if the env var si not present it does nothing.
