This bug is particularly difficult, because there is no stack trace in the crashing thread:

Thread 0 Crashed:  Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
<nothing here>

So, we'd have needed quite a bit of back and forth either way. Usually, there is good information in the stack trace.
