I've done some experiments trying to get flash to render into an ARGB visual
but I was probably doing it naively. This has gone past my knowledge level, but
am I correct in assuming proper compositing isn't possible unless flash (or any
other plugin) makes an alpha channel available in it's output?

And, just to be sure, does flashplayer's wmode="trans" setting work as
expected?
