I had several tabs open in safari. From a google search in one of the tabs, i
command-clicked the site.
It opened in a new tab.
The rendering of the contents of that site did overwrite the visible tabs. Only
some 2-3 pixels of the characters describing the name of a tab were visible.

The weird thing is that the contents of this page are different today.
Not the same effect in other words, hence I understand your questions.

Checked it twice to see if it was reproducible. It was.
