I've received two (unsolicited) emails in the last 24 hours asking if WebKit
supported this.  One of them was for catching uncaught JS exceptions (and I
guess is used by an internal testing tool here @ Google).  A second was wanting
to catch XML parse errors when rendering an SVG to an image (using the Obj-C
API).  It seems to me that there are real needs out there for this feature. 
Certainly the XML error, I can think of no other way to detect such.
