Summary: Default Web Browser setting not working.
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 525+ (Nightly build)
          Platform: Macintosh Intel
               URL: http://www.eros-os.com/pipermail/cap-conf/2008-
                    February/000086.html
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.5
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Platform
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
        ReportedBy: norm at agorics.com

I restart my MacBook.
I launch WebKit (r30654) and: (Preferences > General > Default Web Browser)
already designates "WebKit".
I leave it as it is.
I launch Mail (3.2) and read mail which is like that at
http://www.eros-os.com/pipermail/cap-conf/2008-February/000086.html
(I will forward this mail to anyone who wants it.)

I click on the first ftp link and Firefox 3.0 launches and responds!

I quit Firefox, change Default from WebKit to WebKit.app and I still get
Firefox.
I choose "Select..." under "Default Web Browser" and navigate to the WebKit
app. I still get Firefox.

When I display the e-mail on the pipermail site, and click on the ftp link,
WebKit fetches and renders the pdf file.

Must I de-install Firefox?
I did not run Firefox between launch and test.

Who should this behavior be reported to?
