I recently deleted the folder that I assigned for downloads in Safari. Since
then, all my attempts to download a file resulted in a "freeze" of
Safari/Webkit. When I checked at the preferences, "Desktop" was defined as the
new location but there was a default file icon instead of the Desktop icon.
Definition of a new folder solved the problem.
