Well, we are investigating what is going on here, and all sources of
information (even source code :-) ) are useful.
Apparently, Firefox 1.5 has exactly the same behavior:
1) open this page in Firefox;
2) type something in the "Additional Comments" field;
3) press Return in the address bar.
Results: the data is irrecoverably lost.
Expected results: this is the expected result, and if we change anything, web
development frameworks may break (just guessing here, though).

It is not the same in Firefox either. Anyway, discussing refresh,
shift-refresh and other ways to reload a page isn't directly relevant here, so
we'd better not digress.
I'm no more a fan of losing data than the next guy, but at this point, it
looks like more investigation is needed for this not to end up as WONTFIX.
