Summary: It is impossible to navigate on t-com.de site
           Product: WebKit
           Version: 419.x
          Platform: Macintosh
               URL: http://www.t-com.de
        OS/Version: Mac OS X 10.4
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Evangelism
        AssignedTo: webkit-unassigned at opendarwin.org
        ReportedBy: opendarwin at fi-works.info

The Deutsche Telekom AG, one of the major German and international internet and
telecomminication providers, has a number of websites on which customers can
change settings, modify their options, etc. Unfortunatly navigating critical
parts of these sites is completely impossible using Safari. It does work fine
in FireFox however.

Example:
- Open <http://www.t-com.de> (which will redirect to some rather long session
specific url) using the latest Safari version 2.0.4 (419.3) on Mac OS X 10.4.7
Build 8J135 PPC.
- On the left side you should see a menu with "::Tarife", "::Telefonie & mehr",
"::DSL & mehr", "::Rechnung" and "::Service".
- This menu is non-functional. I.e. clicking on any of the menu items has no
effect. Also moving the mouse over the items does mostly nothing. (Sometimes
there is a short flash indicating that something is trying to happen).
- Open the same page in FireFox 1.5.0.4 and it works perfectly, i.e. a
simulated popup menu is shown when the mouse is over one of the above menu
items. The popup menus contain submenu items which will link to a different
page when clicked.

In Safari it makes no difference whether or not popups are supressed
(<cmd><k>).

Similar problems occur on sites like <http://kundencenter.t-online.de>
(customer service site of a division of the Deutsche Telekom AG) and probably
other Deutsche Telekom AG sites as well. Other domains and sites to check for
similar problems are dtag.de, telekom.de, t-mobile.de (probably, I haven't
checked), t-systems.de (ditto), ...

I have not investigated the problem any further, sorry. So it may not even be a
bug in WebKit. For german and possibly other Deutsche Telekom AG customers who
are Mac users this is highly annoying though. It would be great to get this
fixed somehow. This problem was present at least the last one or two years.
