I would start by debugging jQuery. It's a JavaScript library, so most
likely it does not need special build options.
The debugger in Web Inspector can be useful to trace the execution of
any JavaScript code.


BTW, it's "Qt" and not "QT" (see
http://ariya.blogspot.com/2009/01/qt-not-qt.html).
