Next Generation Mobile Platforms. The Smartphone and other mobile
devices are emerging as versatile platforms for a new generation of
consumer-oriented applications. Samsung's San Jose Computer Science Lab
(CSL) is researching core software technologies that leverage the
capabilities of future mobile devices. To help build the next generation
mobile platform, CSL is seeking candidates with a keen interest in
modern browser architectures and expertise in mobile software and
hardware.  

 

Duties

 

Research core software technologies that leverage the capabilities of
future mobile devices.

BSCS/BSEE ... MS preferred 

Expertise in C, C++

 

Skills

 

*         Excellent knowledge of the WebKit codebase. 

*         Active contributor to WebKit 

*         Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work with
an international team to deliver rapid prototypes.

Desired Skills

 

Experience with one or more of the following:

*         2D graphics libraries

*         OpenGL and /or WebGL

*         OpenCL

*         Browser security

*         Multi-threaded browsers

*         Multi-process browsers
