Job Description:

As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for secure online transaction processing.  You will assist in the development of proprietary applications for end consumer online transaction security.  This includes web browser extensions and mobile applications designed to protect sensitive information such as credit card numbers, passwords, and banking credentials.  You will be a key member in a challenging and exciting project, requiring creative problem solving and outside-the-box thinking.

Primary Responsibilities:



1.       Design, development, and maintenance of new and existing product lines using Microsoft C# .NET.

2.       Leading the design and development of new product features and the continual improvement of our core technology

3.       Provide efficient and optimal technical solutions to business problems in the secure transaction processing space.

4.       Design and development of innovative new technologies, include secure web browser extensions, web crawling, and web intelligence technologies.

5.       Development of tools and utilities to streamline the software development process

6.       Maintain current and extensive knowledge with industry trends and developments


Required Qualifications:


o   A post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

o   A minimum of six years of professional software development experience, including a minimum four years of professional experience using C# and the .NET framework.

o   Thorough understanding of multi-threaded application development, including threading architecture, thread safety, concurrency control, multi-processor optimization, etc...

o   Comprehensive understanding of .NET architecture and C# language features, including generics, managed/unmanaged code interoperability, .NET thread safety, IL manipulation, and serialization/marshalling.

o   Working knowledge of software development best practices, including writing secure code, code optimization, testing methodologies, and the efficient use of design patterns and architectural patterns.

o   Proficiency in utilizing third-party tools to optimize and streamline the development process.

o   Creative, outside the box thinker

o   Resourcefulness and independence; ability to work with minimal supervision.

o   Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

o   Experience with Visual Studio Team System an asset

o   Preference will be given to candidates with experience in COM/XPCOM interop, .NET remoting, HTML/Javascript, and web browser extension development
