[webkit-help] Basic support question

I'm having trouble installing WebKitGtk - the instructions on the website
are outdated and don't work, and I can't seem to find anything that will
point me in the right direction.  Webkit seems like exactly what I need,
but I just need some help getting started.  Is there a flavor of Linux that
you guys have standardized on?
