Hi Haithem,
I'm git checked out webkitdfb_2010-11-18 Is there any difference with the WebKit-r51967-dfb.tar.bz2 link you post below? Also, i first compiled without cairo, it worked and loaded the page. but some of the drawing didnt appear like text boxes, radio button, check box and drop down menu. I thererfore recompiled with cairo enabled. The text box now appeared correctly but radio button, check boxes and drop down menu are not drawn. Have you noticed problem like this?
WebKitDFB works alright if its http://127.0.0.1/index.html but not file:///www/index.html - any idea what needs to be done?
thanks,Nigel
ps: sorry, i dont know if this is the corrrect list to post to for dfb target

Hi,
I see webkit supports cairo/ck/gtk/qt graphic libraries. Can webkit support directfb directly without other graphic libraries, such as cairo/gtk?
without cairo is impossible for now just because the directfb does not provide any vector graphics operations, but without GTK is possible look here:
http://directfb.org/downloads/Libs/WebKit-r51967-dfb.tar.bz2
it's a bit old but working fine
notice you need the LiTE toolkithttp://directfb.org/downloads/Libs/LiTE-0.8.10.tar.gz
regards.
Haithem.
