[webkit-help] How to build webkit for Android?

Hi,


Actually I am testing the webkit software which has been given as part of Android source

I am following the webkit.org to run the tests ,what I could later learn was that before we run ,we need to do a build and then we need to start a browser

But I am not able to do a build at all :(

I am trying to run this command  but I am getting error like

android_source/froyo/external/webkit/WebKitTools/Scripts$ ./build-webkit --qt

Use of uninitialized value $compiler in string eq at /home/android/android_source/froyo/external/webkit/WebKitTools/Scripts/webkitdirs.pm line 1165.
Generating derived sources

Calling 'qmake -r -r /home/android/android_source/froyo/external/webkit/DerivedSources.pro -o Makefile.DerivedSources' in /home/android/android_source/froyo/external/webkit/WebKitBuild/Release

***Unknown option -r

Can you please help me with it

Requirement from my side is , I need to run webkit tests given as part of android source....

Please help...

           git clone git://gitorious.org/webkit/webkit.git<http://gitorious.org/webkit/webkit.git>

and then follow this process

If you provide more information about your requirement ( For what architecture,OS, which QtPort are you using ( QVFB, X11,.. )   ) then we can provide you better help.
