[webkit-gtk] help with HTTP Authentication

Hi All
I need help for what might seem a silly question but really I cannot
sort it out.
I would like to know if WebKitGTK supports any Http authentication
and how to use it.

What I am doing is using a WebView class  to build an
application that save a web page into a file.
I found a way about how to do that but I need to access SECURE HTTP
pages ( https:// )
and these pages ask me for user name and password.
I was not successful in finding some info regarding it.
Is it possible to do that with WebView class or should I use other
means?

Can you help me?
Even some reference or piece of documentation would be great!
