[webkit-dev] Bugzilla default assignees

Hi,
In WebKit Bugzilla the default assignee for all bugs is Nobody. This is
problematic because it makes it really hard to notice when new bugs are
filed against a particular component. For example, I want to be CCed on
all new bugs in the WebKit Gtk component. If there was a fake default
assignee, say webkit-gtk-maint at webkit.bugs, then I could just add that
email to the User Watching section under my Email Preferences, and I'd
notice whenever a bug in that component is filed or changes state. This
is what we do in GNOME Bugzilla and it works quite well.
Since we don't have that, what I've been doing is watching Carlos
Garcia, which is a decent approximation since he tends to get CCed on a
lot of bugs. :) But only regular contributors know to CC him, so if the
bug isn't filed by a regular contributor, nobody ever sees it.
If a Bugzilla admin could set up default assignees for the various
components (or at least the WebKit Gtk component, but it would be
useful for all of them), that would be awesome.
Thanks,
Michael
