[webkit-dev] How does webkit manage memory？

I  notice that webkit consumes memory depending on the memory of my embedded
machine offered but leaved about 2M memory, which is the result of system
kernel(linux kernel) dispatch or webkit's memory manager mechanism?How does
webkit manage memory?
