[webkit-dev] Commissioning an enhancement to QtWebkit

Hi Everyone,

I'm interested in commissioning an enhancement to QtWebkit port, the  
work would be donated to the webkit project under the LGPL in the  
hopes it would make it into the main git tree.

The enhancement would be to implement support for the Java <Applet>  
tag.  I won't bore the list with specific requirements here, however  
we are mostly interested in the Javascript<->Java bridge bits as the  
applets we need to support are non-visual in nature, if we can fund a  
full implementation including the visual bits would depend on cost +  
timeline.

I'd be interested in talking to anyone who might be interested in  
quoting for this work.  I also would welcome advice from the list from  
anyone who has managed something like this [i.e funding an FOSS  
enhancement] before, as I'm new at this.
