[webkit-dev] Does webkit gtk port support persistent history?

Dear All,

Does webkit save history to persistent storage automatically, or it leaves
all the work to client side implementation?
If it is the former case, which API should I use? I only see
WebKitWebHistoryItem to manipulate single history item, no such class like
WebHistory in win port found in gtk port.
