[wpe-webkit] libwpe, WPEBackend-fdo, and Cog branched for 2.26

Hello everybody,

Carlos García has branched WebKitGTK for the 2.26 release series a few days
ago [1]. That will be the branch from which the WPE WebKit 2.26 releases
will be done as well. As a reminder, the following wiki page will be used
to track merge proposals for the stable branch:

  https://trac.webkit.org/wiki/WebKitGTK/2.26.x

Conversely, I have also created new stable branches for libwpe (branch
“libwpe-1.4”), WPEBackend-fdo (branch “wpebackend-fdo-1.4”) and Cog [2]
(branch “cog-0.4”).

From the 0.4 series onwards, Cog will also use the same release numbering
scheme and schedule as the rest of components. Note that the public API
of libcogcore may still change between minor releases until the 1.0.0
release. From now on the API (and ABI) will be kept stable in stable
branches, though.
