<pre>I'm wondering if there is any progress on this or if it's planned to be done early 2017.
Since many user complain about malicious ads, ads sandboxing have been been used to protect users from malicious ads on both mobile and desktop browsers. But Safari (or WebKit) not supporting "allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox" is blocking sandboxing to be used to protect Safari users. Since Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc are already supporting it, it would be great if Safari could support it soon.</pre>
