<pre>I found that injecting a synthetic extra pause can help with GC convergence. I also found that putting a ceiling on mutator utilization and resetting the initialTime at the end of each fixpoint iteration has the same effect. It remains to be seen which feature is better, but the extraPauseRatio remains disabled for now because I'm starting to think that the MU ceiling is better.</pre>
