Video showing how HTML 5 YouTube adjusts volume
HTML 5 video sometimes adjusts volume automatically on spawning or pausing video. This is not consistent and predictable according to any pattern I have been able to discern -- sometimes HTML 5 video does not exhibit this behavior.
Expected behavior:
1) Open HTML 5 video. Video should spawn at 100% volume
Actual behavior:
1) Open HTML 5 video. Video does not spawn at 100% volume
OR
Expected:
1) Change HTML 5 video volume to 100%, using either video player's controls or GNOME's volume controls
2) Pause video or open new HTML 5 video. Video should open or remain at 100% volume.
Actual behavior:
1) Changing HTML 5 video to 100% volume using either player controls does not work. GNOME's volume controls are only temporary and are reset on pause or spawning new video player.
This issue doesn't happen with Firefox or with players such at totem and mpv, or with any other application. Seems to only affect HTML 5 videos playing in epiphany.</pre>
