On desktop that's true but on iOS all the images pasted into contenteditable are referenced by fake url (no matter where they are copied from). I've just tried to paste image copied from the following apps: Notes, Pages, Keynote and Gmail and all of them have been pasted as webkit-fake-url.</pre>
