Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load <<a href="http://codepen.io/Pedr/pen/vyfko/">http://codepen.io/Pedr/pen/vyfko/</a>>
2. Hover the "Some Text" link
=> Expected Red in the SVG to animate, it did not.
Notes:
- Animates in Chrome and Firefox, but not Safari.
