<pre>Please could you consider to implement the lately required HTTP Digest Access Authentication algorithm additions as described in RFC 7616 - HTTP Digest Access Authentication <<a href="https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7616">https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7616</a>>. I am the developer of an embedded web server and it was quite easy to implement said additions at the server side, so I can imagine that it should no be too difficult to get it in on the client side as well without major hassle.
