<pre>I plan to use RunLoop::Timer for the GTK+ implementation, since our RunLoop::Timer implementation is basically the same to what we do in SharedTimerGtk. If this is the case of the other ports we could have a cross-platform implementation of MainThreadSharedTimer.</pre>
