<pre>On Safari 8.1 on 10.11 when selecting a rule in the styles menu it simply inserts the cursor rather than selecting the whole word like in Chrome.
If a user selects a word in a style, it's because they will presumably be changing the value to another. So if I select "margin" it's to change it to "padding" for instance. Thus one needs to select the cursor on the rule and then again to select the word. In Chrome one click selects it all. Also in Chrome selecting a number value such as 5px, one is able to use the arrow keys up and down to increase/decrease the value and easily experiment which how the page changes. In Safari it simply inserts the cursor and the arrow keys do not increase/decrease value. Instead you have to insert the cursor delete the number and type a new number and keep doing that each time as you experiment with different values.
Along the same lines, clicking the inner cursor beneath an existing group of rules does not allow you to insert a new rule like you can in Chrome. To note the +New Rule button only creates a new rule for the currently selecting properly. It takes up a great deal of space and not sure if it's needed since you can style click on the rule in the top of the list, to add a new rule for the currently selected item.</pre>
