At the very least I would expect Safari+VO, when it settles on the element, to read the title= content, like it does for other elements. Even better would be if it would pronounce something like: &quot;Abbreviation: HTML for Hyper Text Markup Language&quot; on the very first time it would encounter the abbreviation.

Currently it does neither.</pre>
