I am experiencing an issue with MPRIS notifications not functioning in GNOME Web (Epiphany) when playing YouTube or other generic HTML5 videos. This issue occurs with both the OpenSUSE Tumbleweed provided .rpm version of Epiphany and the Flathub provided Flatpak version.

Details:

Epiphany Version: 46.3
WebKitGTK Version: 2.44.3 (rpm) 
GStreamer Version: 1.24.7 (rpm) / 1.22.12 (flatpak)
Operating System: OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (Version 20240829)
Shell: GNOME Shell 46.4

Steps to Reproduce:

Open GNOME Web (Epiphany).
Navigate to YouTube or any website with HTML5 video content. (e.g. https://tekeye.uk/html/html5-video-test-page)
Start playing a video.
Observe that no MPRIS notification is displayed for the video playback.
