Did you really tested on Intel based Mac?

I just checked your example on my Intel Mac and it takes over 5 secs.
While in Chrome it takes 266ms.

On Mac M1 based macs it works fine.


P.S. I test MacBook Pro 16inch 2019.
2.3Ghz Intel Core i9.
32Gb RAM
MacOS: Sonoma 14.7
