            Bug ID: 274831
Summary: [macOS] Safari flashes a page background colored bar
with top content inset dimensions in footer when
                    window resizing
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Nightly Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org

Go to any web page with a non-white background color, and make the Safari window small. Then, double tap on the top bar of the Safari window to have it snap to its full size. You will see that there is a difference between the void space horizontally vs vertically during resize. Horizontally we see white, while vertically we see white as well, but before that we see an unexpected bar that shares color with the current page's background, and is only as big as the top content inset.

I reproduced on https://smfr.org.
