I can confirm that this is happening, but there seem to be circumstances where the issue is mitigated.

1. On Codepen[1], the dialog works as expected. This could be the inserted Codepen logic that mitigates the issue.

2. In the attached isolated code example (online version[2]), the bug as described is reproducible.

FWIW, this is not an issue on macOS 14.4.1.
