Changed test case from Comment 0 into JSFiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/a6gqm0sv/

All browsers (Chrome Canary 125, Safari Technology Preview 191 and Firefox Nightly 126) are rendering the test case and respond to click same as well by changing the border from red to blue across whole border rather than just right bottom red.

Since it was never confirmed, so marking this as 'RESOLVED WONTFIX'. Thanks!
