            Bug ID: 271500
Summary: Drop shadow filter has to display the target element
                    to draw the effect
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Nightly Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: sabouhallawa at apple.com
                CC: bfulgham at webkit.org, simon.fraser at apple.com,
                    zalan at apple.com

Open the layout tests in mini-browser WK1

fast/hidpi/filters-drop-shadow.html
filters/drop-shadow-target-clipped.html
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/filter-effects/filters-drop-shadow-003.html

Result: Nothing is displayed.
Expected: The drop-shadow effect (or part of it is displayed.

All these tests draw the target element outside the viewport. So it is clipped from drawing on WK1.
