Making the `display` property animatable in bug 271372 makes the imported/blink/fast/css-generated-content/pseudo-animation-display.html test fail. Note that this test also fails in Chrome but with a different output. The different in behavior has been filed with the CSS WG: https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10111. Once we have a resolution, this bug should update the test, ideally replacing it with a new WPT test, and ensure we have the correct behavior for it.
