Summary: [iOS] Text in multi-column layout looks selected even
when it's not
Product: WebKit
Version: Safari 17
Hardware: iPhone / iPad
OS: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P2
Component: Layout and Rendering

Screenshot on iPad
I have a page consisting in a full-width paragraph followed by a multi-column paragraph.
When I select the first paragraph and part of the first column of the second paragraph, it looks like also the second column is selected (but it's not, and it can be verified copying the text and pasting it somewhere else).
Safari desktop properly highlights only the first paragraph and the first column of the multi-column paragraph.
