            Bug ID: 270508
Summary: Combining character temporarily underlines rest of
                    paragraph
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Other
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: WebKitGTK
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: mcrha at redhat.com
                CC: bugs-noreply at webkitgtk.org

Moving this from a downstream bug report:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/2690

With Evolution 3.50.4 on an up-to-date Fedora 39 system with GNOME, whenever I type a composing character, the rest of the paragraph becomes underlined. This ceases after I type a character that combines with the composing character.

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/uploads/ac9677b1851e7d391f7a1c23973becef/Capture_vid%C3%A9o_du_2024-03-02_16-01-30.webm

This happens in the HTML composer and in the plain text composer, but, curiously, not in the Markdown composer (there, only the symbol of the combining character is underlined, which is normal).
