I cannot reproduce this with iOS 18. Given that this is cross-platform code, I wouldn't expect any differences between aligned iOS and macOS versions.
Marking as resolved, as we cannot improve old versions that have already shipped, and the issue was fixed in WebKit some time between iOS 17 and iOS 18.
