Not my iPhone, so I don't have the exact debug information, but a few users are experiencing this.

Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max (MQ8T3LL/A) @ iOS 17.4.1

scanapp.org freezes when installed to home screen as a PWA, but not in the browser. This effects not just this JS camera library, but other react camera libs as well, making me think it's a webkit/ios issue introduced early last week.
