            Bug ID: 272520
Summary: [view-transitions] differences in behavior between
                    WebKit & Chromium
           Product: WebKit
           Version: Safari Technology Preview
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Layout and Rendering
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: jeroen.zwartepoorte at gmail.com
                CC: bfulgham at webkit.org, simon.fraser at apple.com,
                    zalan at apple.com

Having this blog post side by side between Chrome 123 & STP 192 shows differences in behavior: https://jakearchibald.com/2024/view-transitions-handling-aspect-ratio-changes/

I am *assuming* these are implementation bugs in WebKit?

I don't know view transitions enough to know the where the bugs are, but like I said, they're very easy to spot. The "Animate slowly" versions are especially helpful.
