https://searchfox.org/wubkat/source/ is a great search tool known and used by a lot of WebKit contributors — but not well-known or used much be anyone outside the project. There are times when others outside the project — in particular, other implementors — want to search through the WebKit sources. For a concrete example, see the comment at https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/3699#issuecomment-1724114438 where a Blink/Chrome implementor says, “I didn't see any equivalent code in Gecko or WebKit after a quick look, though I admit I don't have good source code search tools for WebKit so I'm definitely less sure there”.

Perhaps a “Sources” tab could be added to the top menu: Downloads | Feature Status | Documentation | Sources | Policies | Contribute | Blog
