It seems like there might be a regression issue in Safari 15 on iOS 15.1, where muting the camera during a call with H.264 codec is causing some https://twitter.com/academized problems. Hopefully, Apple addresses this in an upcoming update to improve the user experience. Thanks for sharing this information!
