The only caps event I see in the log is

pushEvent:<image-decoder-parser-0> Pushing caps event: 0x1d0bb20, time 99:99:99.999999999, seq-num 12794, GstEventCaps, caps=(GstCaps)"video/quicktime\,\ variant\=\(string\)iso";

which afaict represents fixed caps...
