            Bug ID: 254217
Summary: [media-controls] buffered data indicator looks wrong
                    when scrubbing back
           Product: WebKit
           Version: WebKit Nightly Build
          Hardware: Unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Media
          Assignee: webkit-unassigned at lists.webkit.org
          Reporter: graouts at webkit.org

Steps to reproduce:

1. on iPad, load apple.com/events
2. play the latest event
3. Scrub forward
4. Wait a bit to see the buffered data indicator (the gray-ish bar showing data buffered ahead of the play head) fill up
5. Scrub backward

At this point you'll notice the buffered data indicator lingers up to the point where you were playing prior to scrubbing and only snaps back after playback resumes at the new play time.
