web inspector with console result showing true

ok this is weird. 

window.matchMedia('(min-width: 69em)').matches

returns true for me on both (on macOS)

* Safari Version 16.5.1 (18615.2.9.11.7)
* Safari Technology Preview Release 172 (Safari 17.0, WebKit 18616.1.17.3)
